Conair GS4 Compact Fabric Steamer
 
Conair isn't exactly a brand that you would think about when you're thinking of a steam iron, but they actually have something that is pretty popular. I'm actually referring to the Conair GS4 Compact Fabric Steamer. Even though this is a device that falls into the category of a steam iron, it really isn't one. But it acts the same way because it is able to send out a lot of steam.
It is meant to be used in a vertical fashion, which is the way most people end up using steam to get wrinkles out of their clothes. I thought I write up a review on the GS4 and give you a good idea of what this particular device is for.

- This is designed to safely remove wrinkles from delicate clothing, linens and curtains.
- 1200 Watt Heater: This means that you can have high velocity steam from this device in as little as 20 minutes. That isn't an overly powerful heater on it, but that explains the next benefit.
- Cheap Steam Iron: This is something that is quite cheap when you compare it to the other items on the market. You should be able to pick up one of these for around $30, which is practically nothing when you compare it to other kinds like Rowenta.
- Compact Design: With the compact design you can easily store the device and put it away.
- Cool Touch Hose and Handle: You will no fears of touching any hot items because it is completely cool to touch.
- Door Hook and 6 foot Cord: This will give you a lot of distance when you're using it. The door hook is something that you can attach the nozzle to when you're hanging up different clothes on it. Makes it much easier to get your laundry done.
- 1 Year Warranty: A very solid warranty on it, so you don't have to worry about it breaking down in the first year that you own it.
- Auto Shut Off: This feature is nice to have. There should be no fears of leaving the iron on because it will shut itself off if it isn't moved.
I think the Conair GS4 Compact Fabric Steamer is actually very good. It was designed with smart features and that makes it quite practical for most people.
